Program 2 - Proposal

Archaic Polyphonies

This program takes a guided tour of some of the most interesting examples of early European polyphony, the instrumental accompaniment trials done in the south of France in the XI century, the great monuments of the French Gothic period, and the oldest, for two voices, piece written in Portugal (Arouca), by the Codex Calixtino de Compostela and by the monastery of Las Huelgas in Burgos.

An original course according to the most up-to-date research, served by flexible and powerful voices.
